LABOR RATES

I work local in Los Angeles, California, and in Kansas City, Missouri.

Director / DP Combo Rate: $7,500 per 10 hour shoot day. Prep and post (edit & color sessions) negotiated per job.

Ideally, I have at least (2) Director prep days @ $2,500/day per (1) day of shooting

Director Only Rate: $5,000 per 10 hour day. Prep and post (edit sessions) negotiated per job.

Ideally, I have at least (2) Director prep days @ $2,500/day per (1) day of shooting

Director of Photography Only Rate: $3,500 per 10 hour day. Prep and post (color sessions) negotiated per job

Ideally, I have at least (2) DP prep days @ $1,750/day per (1) day of shooting

Drone Pilot: $1,750 per 10 hour day

Requires drone camera operator ($1,200/day) and a drone tech ($750/day)


Travel / ‘Off Day’ Rate: $1,750 per 10 hour day

EQUIPMENT RATES

All equipment below is stored to allow it to travel or ship nationwide. I can rent my equipment on a ‘3-day week,’ meaning a 3 day rental for every 5 billable shoot days. All equipment rented requires a signed rental agreement and a COI listing Lago Studios LLC as Additional Insured with replacement value equal to the equipment rented.

CINEMA LENS SETS – Spherical & Anamorphic

Canon FD (PL Mount): $800/day

A complete set of 1970s Canon FD primes rehoused in new 110mm front cinema housing. The Canon FD lenses are perfect for cinematography, especially full frame cinematography. They are siblings of the legendary K35s. This set has all new 16-blade irises and beautiful new housings making them lightweight and weighted similarity across the different focal lengths. These are great lenses for Movi or Steadicam work due to their light weight.

Tokina Vista Primes offer so much performance in an affordable set of lenses.
